Ocassionally, the Club will have a very capable player whose parents may not be able to afford the fees for club volleyball due to a variety of circumstances. With a scholarship donation to the Club, which is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, you would receive a letter confirming your charitable contribution which can be presented to the IRS as a tax write-off. The donation would be issued to the player's parents in need of assistance as a gift from the donor along with confirmation letter to both. A donation and scholarship would be a great means of assisting a young player to compete in a club sports environment.
